History

Hello! We are Jeff and Anabelle Wary. We got married in 2019 and became a blended family of 7 children and 6 grandchildren. We are empty nesters with our boy, KC, a 3-year-old Golden Doodle. Jeff and I love camping and swimming so we bought our property by Beaver Lake in 2024 to make it our permanent camping spot. We fell in love with how serene the property felt, having gravel roads to ride our four-wheelers on, and being close to the lake. We also love all of the nearby hiking trails that Hobbs State Park has to offer. We decided to build a bardominium to house our lake toys and eventually decided to build the apartments for our children to have somewhere to stay when they visit.

My father owned a restaurant on Lake Chapala in Jalisco, Mexico that was called "La Posada". Posada means lodging or accomodation. We felt it was appropriate to name our property "La Posada Retreats" in memory of my late father, but also because it represents the feeling of a retreat. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and don't mind a little drive, you'll find the property a nice, quiet escape. The two-bedroom apartment and one-bedroom studio are perfect sizes for small families or for a group of friends to repose.
